Alexander DM is a custom fine jewelry manufacturer serving jewelry retailers and businesses. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or request a quote, how we use it, and the choices you have.

01 Who we are

Alexander DM ("Alexander DM," "we," "us") designs and manufactures custom fine jewelry in gold and platinum for jewelry retailers and businesses. We are the party responsible for the information described in this policy.

02 What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our quote request form — including a lead form on Facebook or Instagram — we collect: your name; your email address; your mobile phone number; whether you are a jewelry retailer or business, and your role; where you are in your custom order, and which metals you work in; how you prefer to be contacted.

If we go on to work together, you may also send us design files, CAD drawings, specifications, reference images, and the order and billing details needed to produce and deliver your pieces.

Information we collect automatically. If you visit our website, we may collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. We may use cookies or similar technologies, including advertising and analytics tools from Meta, to understand how people find and use our site.

Information from advertising platforms. When you respond to one of our ads, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) passes us the information you chose to submit through their lead form, and gives us aggregate reporting about how our ads performed. Meta's own handling of your data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy, not this one.

03 How we use it

We use the information you give us to: respond to your quote request and answer your questions; prepare pricing, CAD designs, and production estimates; manufacture, photograph, and ship your custom orders; send you photo and video proofs for approval before anything ships; keep you updated on the status of an active order; follow up about products and services relevant to your business; keep our own records, and meet our tax and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it to third parties for their own marketing.

04 Calls, texts, and email

When you give us your mobile number and ask us to text you, you are agreeing that we may contact you by phone call and text message about your quote and your orders.

You can stop at any time. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of further texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply from your carrier. Message frequency varies. Opting out of texts does not stop us from emailing you, and does not affect an order already in production.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at operations@alexander-dm.com and ask us to stop contacting you.

05 Who we share it with

We share your information only where it is needed to run our business: service providers who work on our behalf — for example our CAD designers, casting and finishing partners, shipping carriers, payment processors, and the software we use to store orders and customer records (they may only use your information to perform work for us); advertising and analytics platforms, including Meta, in connection with the ads that brought you to us; legal and safety reasons — if we are required to by law, or to protect our rights, our property, or someone's safety; a business transfer — if Alexander DM is ever sold or merged, your information may transfer with the business.

06 How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for our business records, warranty and remake questions, and our tax and legal obligations. When we no longer need your information, we delete it or render it anonymous.

07 How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08 Your choices and rights

You can ask us to: tell you what personal information we hold about you; correct information that is wrong or out of date; delete your information, where we are not required to keep it; stop sending you marketing texts or emails.

Email operations@alexander-dm.com and we will respond. Depending on where you live — for example if you are a California resident — you may have additional rights under local privacy law, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We honor those rights regardless of where you are.

09 Children

Alexander DM sells to jewelry businesses, not to consumers, and our services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10 Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here and change the date at the top. Material changes will be made clear.
